Put these on for the winter as I live in a college town and the roads are slow. They handled great in the 8-14 inches I've ridden through. Traffic is super slow so it just works in my situation. Plus I go a little off roading but in the warm weather it will be back to the Michelin.

Nice find! I called Maxxis USA last year and they said they would be coming "soon". Are you running the 130 in back and 120 in front? or 120 front and back?

I hear the Kendra D-761s are pretty good and they come in the correct size.

Yes! These were the factory tires on my 2013 Honda Ruckus, We took them down dirt roads and through the powerlines which was mostly alot of loose sand. The performed pretty well.

find for the grom, giving a slight acceleration advantage 120/70 is 6 lbs and 130/70 is 6.7lbs
If anyone really needs a set and can't get them , I would be willing to help out since I live in Taiwan
The place they are made and the maxxis headquarters. They are 30 usd each here and 2 would be about 30usd to ship+-
(I have sent similar sized package weight boxes to the USA for about 30 dollars) So total a set with shipping would cost
about 90usd+- to the USA from Taiwan

I can't say for certain but i'm about 80% sure they don't rub. I have heard of people taking off the front fender for 120/80 12 sized tires.But thats because the 80 series is taller with the stock size of 120/70 12 I dont think it will rub since after all your not going with a different tire size and the 70 series are all mostly about the same diameter with very little variance from brand to brand and tire to tire

Sounds like its what u might want to investigate.. 9" wide Maxis rear / 4" Kenda front with a 4" over swing arm i built... This thing will go anywhere .. { Maxxis M6024 } on the Grom fit Perfect with No issues.. I paid about 120.00 out the door .. I will post pic's of her but right now its Snowmobile time.

I was looking at the TW200 when I got the Grom. I wonder if one day Yamaha will build a modern TW. Imagine that, new look with the 320 from the R3

I measured the rear tire gap to fender for both the stock rear tire and my current setup:

Stock 130/70-12 Vee Rubber = 1 3/8" gap to fender

Current 120/70-12 Maxxis M6024 = 1 3/4" gap to fender
