As much as I normally dislike aggressive mods like the tail removal the flippin bike looks so much better with the mod. Is it a US safety law that they need to be shipped that way? It looks so out of place with the sweet lines of the Grom. I'm hoping that removing it won't bring me over to the dark side for good.

 

phillps head screws for the covers on the under side of the fender so you can unplug the wires. then 4 10mm bolts under the seat and the fender pops right off.

Now begins the saga of getting my Grom home!

 

where do the wires unplug? I might be blind.

 

To me it looks like the plug is closer to the hole under the tail.
