I’m thinking about just cutting the exhaust in the middle, basically removing the entire section where it’s branded BFT, Installing the front half to the motor. create brackets and find a way to instal the second half. then take the bike to my fab guy to marry front and back half. He welds stainless steel, I don’t. I can hardly weld regular steel lol.

just got in a part from impulse movement which is basically a fork boot but with suspension function . Hoping this will minimize fender to triple tree collisions.

I ordered a new master from a crashed Ducati. I knew I had a new lever , but the mount was damaged so I sanded it smooth, polished it and installed the lever I had. Put a cheap remote adjuster on it because the knob was broken. It looks interesting I guess.

ordered core moto brake lines red with blue fittings. And more fancy bolts.

ordered these little red and green buttons that go on the masters. Going to wire them as start and kill switch.

I had a major issue that stopped me in the tracks. Once I got the wheels on and could roll it around I realized It was shifting funny. When I built the motor I accidentally flipped the shift forks upside down on the shaft and it was only shifting 3 gears. Had to split the cases , flip the forks and reassemble it once again. That’s all sorted out now.

Got a little time to take apart the front end and add the fluid filled fork protector from impulse.movement on Instagram. It did help the fender from smashing the radiator. It was a real pain in the butt to instal on a lowered bike.

got the exhaust to fit by making small pie cuts to maintain the over all shape but get some movement. Next it’ll have to go to the welder and get rewelded + brackets added to slip on and head pipe I think. I can’t weld stainless unfortunately.

Hi,

concerning the brake calipers, you have a dual cylinder at the back and a single cylinder brake at the front.
Shouldn't it be the other way round?
