So thought id start a build thread for the Grom since I have made a few changes to it from stock.
Taking the Groms home the day we got them. Both my Brother and I Brought one.

Rode it for a few Hundred KM then started making changes (didnt take photos as i did it)
This all came from Dark Knight Street

A few Days after fitting the exhaust Managed to have an accident and scratch it up.
A guy came straight onto a roundabout in front of me not giving way "Didnt see me"

Luckly i already had some indicators coming (Ebay) and already had the tail Tidy waiting to be installed.

Had to mod the tail tidy bracket to lift the plat up as much as possible (Grom Suspension and Thai parts aren't designed for 85+KG)

Next was to black out the rear of the bike (Should have done the gold bits at same time but didnt think so those were another day)

As it sits now With the back blacked out and the gold bits too.

Current Mod List: (Front to back)
Flush Mount front indicators
Rizoma Tomok Mirrors - Soo much better then stock
Airbox mod - Metal screen and internal restriction removed
Low Mount exhaust Stainless header to "Muffler"
MAD Seat - Hard as hell not the most comfy but looks nice
Petex Under tail and moded Tail Tidy with Ebay indicators on a custom Bracket
Plasti Dipped Rear Section and accent pieces

Not sure yet. (no direction).

Back to work tomorow so can start ordering parts again.
Think im going to get a lower set of bars, +2 or 3 rear sproket and new chain as the next things

Possibly PCV in the future as i want to learn to tune. And once i have that ill do a new intake.

Yeah been thinking about slightly lower bars as well, shouldn't be too expensive.
Then I'll do the Kitaco oil cover, bit more pick up would be nice.
On the flats I can get up to 110k/h now which is pretty good I'd say.
Installed the PCV and wideband a week ago and there was a difference, goes a lot better through the gears now and it added about 2k/h top speed. yay :)
But haven't 'tuned' it as such, just let it do it's thing. I'll probably take it to Aden at Restorace to get tuned as I'm a bit of a noob at those things.

Today was pretty productive,

Got some adjustable levers fitted up.
Just need to move them across a little bit but that can be tommorow before work

Also Fitted anew rear sprocket, went 36 tooth rather then going 14 in the front mostly because i wanted to improve the look of the rear sprocket.
While i was at it changed the chain to a RK Blue chain too, this was my first time removing a rear wheel from a bike and have to say it went quite well. Did a second bike straight after this one and managed to do that in about 30min all up for the sprocket and chain change.

Just some pictures of the rim off and the old chain off.

Will get some pictures of the finished work tomorrow, was too dark by the time i finished up the second bike.
