After watching a riding buddy drop her Ninja and fix the bent shift lever with a manufacturer-supplied tool; and losing a bolt on a ride; and general paranoia about needing to suddenly adjust something requiring a wrench; I really wanted to bring a full tool set with me on every ride so I wouldn't be saying: Dang, I have everything but that. I had gotten this REI waist pack which was too bulky to wear as a waist pack for normal stuff (wallet, phone) let alone tools. But between the nice flat surface of the Corbin saddle, and the anchor points of the Tyga rack, it stayed in place on a 1.5 hour ride Westwood to Valley Village via Sepulveda (for you Angelenos). And it's easy to detach and carry if I have to park at a restaurant.
