I have put down about 2200 miles on my grom over the past year or so, and quite a few of those miles were with my girlfriend on the back. Going to get food, or going to friends houses and even just to go out for rides. Last trip my girlfriend went with me was vacaville to Sacramento (the long way) and she swore she wasn't goin with me on any more long rides (apparently groms aren't built for 2 full size adults). Long story short, we made the decision for her to move in with me and her FIRST step once we got all moved in was to go buy a monkey so we can ride together! After a trip to roseville and her buying the one that matched my truck, she learned to ride it and use the clutch and even got up to 16mph. Shes looking into signing up for a riders course as soon as possible, and then bein a hard-core road warrior! Myself not being able to keep anything stock already ordered a fender eliminator, and I'm gonna get her the yoshi exhaust, an intake and programmer when she graduates riding school! I'm possibly the luckiest man alive right now!

Congrats to you both. The "up to 16mph" comment made me laugh because it brought me back to when I was teaching my GF to ride her grom. She hit 25mph and thought she was flying and couldn't imagine going any faster. Fast forward to the present and she's happily cruising at 55mph to 60mph every ride. You two are going to have a blast.
