So I got my cam yesterday and decided to take some pic and measurement and document any flaw in the new cam.
the diff in the cam is the intake lobe is stamp with 15/15D for the 5axis cam and the other cam from the older BBK kit is stamp 10/10D
10/10D on the left and 15/15D on the right
there is a flaw on the exhaust lobe, you can see the pits near the peak but not on the roller surface
with out have a accurate way to measure the slop of the cam it looks like the new cam 15D has a longer duration on the intake and less on the exhaust.
the lobe near the larger bearing is the exhaust and the lobe near the smaller bearing is the intake lobe.
both cams are new and freshly taking out their box and plastic wrap.
The height of both the old and new cam lobe is around 28.07-28.12mm on both the intake and exhaust lobe.
this cam will be installed in my Red/white grom which has the longest break in period of over 2.5K miles so I already know how it performs and I will either know any changes in performance with the new cam.
the cam will be installed sometime soon either Sunday or next week since today "Saturday" I'm heading to Redwood City on my Yellow/white grom for Salsa Festival both dancing and food and Tequila tasting/drinking.
