Four weeks ago I went on a ride up in Plymouth, Massachusetts with my Honda monkey. 2019 3000 miles. It was for a fallen soldier and Cabré of course 800 riders and one monkey not stand out you're only wearing kilts. On the ride it was between 25 and 40 miles an hour and we did them about 50 miles. I got 184 miles to a tank. I find it quite amazing after the ride. We were about an hour from home so I jumped on route three and I pegged it all the way home at about 55 miles an hour 53 miles an hour to be exact. I weigh 295 eight many people passed me and told me about later on they seen me driving down the highway killed flying in the air bike. I got 105 miles the gallon driving home Peg the whole way. Just wanted to say great gas mileage much better than my Honda Trail that I drive extensively also last year I did take it up to Top about Washington first gear up first gear down full of adventures

Interesting. Thanks for replying 😍👍
My engine is still getting broken in and the best I've managed so far was around 162 UK mpg. Admittedly I just potter about more than ride like a hooligan nowadays 🙈 but there's a lot of times you do indeed need the throttle wide open just to keep up with traffic....even the grannies in cars (although I'm a granny myself now so I need to watch what I'm saying 🤣)
I think I might try a tank or two of the good stuff anyway. It sounds like regardless of mpg figures, it's better for the bike's components in the long run.

I think it takes longet to go off compared to E10 and isn't hydroscopic. I'm pretty sure that the octaine boost is of no use........the beauty of the Monkey range is the tank is so small you don't notice.
Ah now that could be a determining factor too. I've not thought about cheaper fuel going off quicker until now.
The amount of use my bike gets is actually minimal. Although it looks like I go all over the place in my posts. My Grom spends most of it's time in the motorhome to cover the big miles and doesn't come out very often.
Again, really good information. Much appreciated 🥰👍
