Just wondering if anyone has done an LED HS1 upgrade to theirs. I'm wanting to avoid all the hassles of going HID/Projector retrofits.

This is the one in question:
Racbox Motorcycle H4 HS1 LED Headlight Bulb H/L High Low Beam 2000lm2 Scooter Motorbike LED Lights https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014P3BBKU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_cA-yzb9RANA4X

Edit-
It just says M4 as the selection and not specifically HS1, another reason for making this thread.

Thanks in advance.

the problem with that is the LED is on one side of the bulb, you want at lease 2 LED on both sides of the board, that way you have real Hi-beam.

it might be more work than you want to do, but i just did a bi-led projector retrofit for my girl's grom. you seem to know about projectors so you know the benefits going that route. it's all led so no issues as with hid.

the bi-led projector that i got is as simple as you get. simply remove the lens and install the projector in place of the bulb. it uses the existing hs1 socket on the housing.

pair it with a shroud and some paint, you'll get something like this

I like HID units but I don't like any added power hog devices on a grom MC, it is already suffering from power from the stock stator and rectifier

here is my link on my HID build, all pic have been removed or blocked by photobucket because they wanted $399 per year to do 3rd party support.

Wow that really sticks out in there lol. Is the front lens removable without dealing with any glue? (I had to use a heat gun in my older hondas.) And does that bi-LED thing include the bulb? Got a link to the parts you used (Amazon is awesome)? I like keeping things simple and low-key so I don't dont need halos or whatever when picking shrouds. I kinda like the black on in the grom closest to the camera

Hello, My bike has the projector type headlight, like the thai ones. I´ve been using led for 2 years, but the first 3 or 4 bulbs I tried did not properly focus the beam. my beam has something like horns on both sides, flashing the other cars I cross on the road. The high beam was even worse.... in reality it was like a very low beam. The only bulb that project a beam like stock is this one: 4000 Lumens LED Headlight Kit | Reversible Base. if you buy it you can turn it to adjust the beam patern. I´m very happy with it

It comes in pairs. I know that 140 dollars may be very expensive but I spent more in other bulbs that made me blind at night. you could sell one to other person or buy it for 2 bike to save some money.

1 month ago my bike had the 1st inspection and everything was fine even with the led. If you want pics just ask for it and I´ll post them

Sorry for my bad english, I´m from spain
