Hey guys, I have a 2015 Grom that I bought last year, and unfortunately I'm having some issues. I barely ride this thing, and it's only got 600 miles on it. Yesterday I decided to fire it up, and it took and extra second to fire up. Once it did it BARELY idled on its own. And any blip of the throttle would kill it. I assumed bad gas since it sat for maybe 2 months. So I sucked all the gas out of it and put a fresh tank of 91 in it. After that it actually ran decent but not great, and still showed some hesitation and a very rough idle. I was able to blast it up and down the block a few times but something wasn't quite right.
I dug in a little deeper, and did the full Ecu clear, reset, and tps reset. That did nothing. At that point I messed with the idle set screw on the side of the TB. That made it not even start. So I let it sit over night. I set that back to stock and got it to actually start then. Still running the same, dying at idle, throttle very unresponsive, not wanting to rev out, I slapped a new NGK 3901 plug in. Same issue.
At this point I'm thinking it's either the fuel pump dying, but not sure because from calling the dealer they said it wouldn't run at all. At that point I would think either the injector is bad, or the TPS isn't reading correctly now. I'm at a loss and out of warranty.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
