So we are looking at $500 or so for 1.5 hp or so gain?

LOL

Not judging as I too have the steady garage intake and a DG exhaust.

Ain't no replacement for....

That is so true. YEARS ago my buddy had a CB750 and I had a stock CB900. He put hundreds of dollars into exhaust and smoothbore carbs and I could still smoke him.

But small CCs is what the Grom is all about. It is more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. And with this intake and exhaust I at least "feel" like I am going faster.

Wonder if the 2200 miles had anything to do with the better performance. Engine was probably not completely broken in at the 300 mile Mark. Was this same bike?

Thanks for the post!
2 different bikes. A couple of my friends and the guys at the shop speculate that it could be either the bike not being broken in yet, or that the yamamoto just has too many bends. Personally I have no idea, maybe some one with more knowledge can make it rain.
