I got bit by the from bug right after I bought my ruckus, it didn't take long to find a dealer with one in the color I wanted but the downside was that the dealer was 650 miles away so I talked the girlfriend into spending the weekend in Salt Lake City we drove up Tuesday night got there at 8:30am and waited till the dealer opened and went in to pay for it .. I took delivery on Friday before going home

Plans for the grom;
tidy tail
tdm turn signals or other aftermarket turn signals
exhuast, either Yosh, or two brothers
intake
14 tooth sproket
tires
retrofit headlight

im sure there is more to do but I have too many hobbies to keep up with

here here is a couple pics before I finished strapping it down

Congrats, nice snag, the OTD price must have been the deciding factor for you to drive that distance.
In Northern Calif "bay area" the OTD price is sticking around $4,100 and with some luck you can get them as low as $3,600 OTD

Hey ride safe

Traveling for a good deal has always been my thing .. I went to alanta to get my boat, houston to buy my duramax, salt lake city to get my rock crawler, portland to buy my RZR.. oddly enough the civic in the picture I bought about 2 miles from where I bought the grom... its about the adventure as much as the good deal

so today I finally had time to go to the DMV got it all registered .. they gave me trouble over the engine serial # because they said a 6 looked like a G and wanted to send me to CHP but another vin verifier came over and looked at it .. he said he left his deposit on a grom already .. so he signed off on the paperwork and I got my registration completed .. I also took my motorcycle permit test and passed it 100% so now that I finally rode it I can say I am happy with the purchace it rides like I wanted it too and is just as fun to ride as a YSR is my only complaints is 1) the clutch is way out of adjustment (lets out in the last inch) 2) I hate the mirrors 3) the seat is like sitting on bricks .. overall I have 0 buyers remorse
