Which brand shock is best for lowering.

Need to lower my ride for composimo stretch kit.
Can Anyone here recommend a suitable shock/suspension that can be lowered to the max.

Are you buying the composimo stretch with the lowering link?? I am still running the stock shock at the moment. And my bike is lowered 6".

Ok dumb question. Lowering link goes on the upper or lower mount?

You'll spend more on a new shock than you will a lowering link, just pick up the lowering link

If/when you get the lowering link, be ready for kickstand issues.

For those of you without a strech, lowering link won't work. Tire in the way.

This is the adjustable lowering bracket I made for my setup. Three adjustments, somewhere around 1", 2.5" and 4". Cut old one off and weld new one on. Easy as that!

Not a dumb question at all. It goes on the lower mount.

Where did you get/order the stretch extension unit kit and how much? Another question did you go with a O-ring chain? I would like to make my daughter's Grom that style

I ordered everything from Composimo.com for $575. I ordered the chain off amazon for around $30. Not quite sure if it's an o-ring type one or not. It looks identical to the stock one minus the length.

Got it off of ebay. It's padded underneath on top of the factory padding. Here is the link to it on ebay. Maybe try contacting the seller. Honda Grom Custom Seat Cover | eBay

I like it much better than the stock seat. The carbon fiber vinyl looks and fits really good.

I know about composimo link.
But what I need is a shock that can be lower to 2-6 inch.
Anyone here know a brand that can do that? ?

i don't understand your post, why do you need a shock that can lower 2-6 inches? If you want to lower it after the stretch, purchase a 2" or 6" lowering link, there is no need to buy a shock at all

Also there is no quality shock that will lower you 6" considering the stock one is 10", like it's been said.. If you want to lower it, buy a lowering link

I need a shock to be fully adjustable so that i can adjust the height of my bike.
If i change the link its will alway be in 2" or 6" lower and not fully adjustable.
