Hey guys, I ordered a Opmid temp gauge and thought it came with the Bar Clamp mount but when it arrived I was wrong. I've searched everywhere and can't find where to buy the clamp and I really don't want to re-buy another temp gauge just to get the mount. Has anyone seen these for sale anywhere? Thanks in advance.

Not exactly what you are looking for but the Race Proven Motors Mount includes a spot for the OPMID.

I have my Dobeck AFR and OPMID mounted this way.

I doubt that the mount itself can by ordered seperatly.
But maybe HR does also sell the mounts ? Did you already ask ?

I belive HR does not supply them because HR and people like myself have fat bars that do not work with the OPMID clamp. I found the cleanest location IMO was between the speedo and bars.

The gauge and mount are half the cost of the Koso cluster that has the temp gauge integrated (along with lots of other goodies).

You are right... However, because the Koso is much smaller than stock a windscreen or other metal fabrication is required to make it look right.

Thank you all for the reply's. I like RPM's mount but I do not have an AFR to mount to fill the hole, it looks awesome though. I read that HR doesn't offer it because most of their customers have replaced their bars already, I should have read the fine print.
I checked HR website and there's no mount offered. I did find a top clamp for the KOSO Temp Gage but it will not work. New Items | Western Power Sports, Inc.

I'll prob end up re-ordering the Opmid but making sure I get the right one this time :redgrom:

Ordered the Opmid with bar Clamp from Steady Garage today. I'll sell my standard Opmid (for the Grom, no bar clamp) to anyone for $50 shipped. Thanks again guys.

That is exactly correct. 75% of Gromers already have Fat bars, making the clamp worthless.

We don't want to FORCE them to pay $40 more for something they don't want or need.

On top of that.... The OPMID now already includes a nice little bar mount anyways.....FREE with our Kits..


BTW.... RPM make a great CNC Top clamp mount for JUST the OPMID... for someone with Stock Bars, that doesn't want to use the FREE included Mount.
