Hello everyone! Just curious what else you guys and girls ride besides your monkey. Here’s my 2012 Forty Eight
Very cool!!Had a '68 Triumph Daytona, but sold that to partially finance the Monkey. I'm a collector of all things Moto Parilla, an Italian manufacturer of 50- 250cc bikes from the later 40's to the mid 60's. Two are in the house. A 1958 Italian market Lusso Veloce and a 1960 200cc Grand Sport. Then there is the Parilla Leviere, a 1955 scooter project that will be (fingers crossed) turned into an electric bike. I've seen old Vespas & Lambrettas converted, but not other makes. Still trying to figure out the set-up and find someone that's done it before to tell me I'm on the right track. NICE! my first mini bike was built from a 24" huffy bicycle frame with a 20" ft wheel and a wheel barrow rear wheel with Vbelt pulley and powered by a REO 2hp engine from a reel mower.Long gone but never forgotten!Mikez
Just like those except blue and a leading link front fork...like this:If your Steen-Hodaka was anything like the two pictured below, they were kick-butt little bikes... and wheelie kings!
Congratulations on your Z125M.
Nice bay window too!Until this month these two- ’70 RT1, ’69 AS2 125. sold them partially to make room in garage for the Monkey. Started riding in ‘69 on a Kawasaki Coyote, next bike was a Steen 100. Probably 25 bikes passed thru my hands since then....I like retro/vintage looks....but getting a little long in the tooth for retro/vintage mechanical reliability and handling! Hence the Monkey...love it so far!
