I know there has been a lot of talk about the US Grom having a projector or not.

So I believe it will have one and heres why.
First if you go to Honda Powersport website and look up the Grom, it states this about the headlight.
Combined Projector-Style Headlight

Practical and unique looking, the Grom’s combined projector-style headlight is a major styling element and also allows great visibility at night.

and I found this picture on Totalruckus.com, it's a Grom in a crate, I believe these are US spec Grom b/c they have orange lense turn signals and the reflectors by the fender, The Euro and Asian ones come with clear turn lenses and NO reflectors.

What do you guys think? please comment.

I sure hope the US Spec ones have the projector. That's kind of a big deal to me, just because it looks so good. I know I'm sure you can replace it with a Euro/Asian spec one, but just coming standard would be ideal.

The only thing that worries me is that the Grom in the Honda video we have all seen doesn't appear to have one....

The problem I have is they call it a projector "style" headlight. All the pictures I have seen on Honda's website show a different halogen headlight. I hope it does come with the projector headlight but if it doesn't that's easily solvable.

Ya wrong, we got big orange indicators and side reflectors U.S spec in the UK, there awful oh and always on running lights on the front indicators!

yes an all the pics they provide on the honda powersports site all have standard halogen type housings. i too caught the projector type. i already ordered a thai replacement from tyga. an if the US spec does end up coming with a projector, i'll just mount the thai one on my stunt/street fighter f4i.

wish i held off on ordering cause, it didn't occur to me that oem honda in thailand won't have dot spec stamped so it still won't pass my safety check. an i could of jus got a tinted with halo headlight from bikerzbits, i think it was.

Hes already stated that the bike was imported, ie MSX

As far as these particular units going to US I doubt it , White Grom at the end will not see the states for a while , Red and Black first to hit the states.

I also orderd a projector from tyga. If the U.S. bke has one its going on my SV1000 standard. I'm going to be slightly miffed if we get white as I also orderd those body panels. I could send them out for killer paint.

I like always on running lights. It's a safety thing. Cagers need all the help they can get seeing a bike. A bike as small as the grom needs visibility.
