It all started in May when a friend showed me an article about the grom. Soon after I put a deposit down at Lexington motorsports. I picked it up on august 30th.

Within a couple months I put on the mnnthbx fender eliminator, Thai headlight, and vinyl wrap.

Then the weather became very cold and wet. So the bike got put away until yesterday when it warmed up to about 50 degrees. So after a ride I decided it needed to be faster so I ordered a few parts.

And while I was in a buying mood I decided to splurge on some bodywork from custom part studio. Land vehicle Motorcycle Vehicle Yellow Superbike racing

Future purchases include
-exhaust with good ground clearance
-rear shock
-composimo race bars
-composimo stretch with 6" drop block
-composimo front fork adapters
-rrgs low down forks

Those mods may take a while and I may change directions but as of now those are my thoughts. Hopefully the weather warms back up so I can put some miles on this thing!

I finally got around to installing the sprocket today and recorded some quick results. I used a gps app to track my top speed and average speed. Then I made the same loop and tried to finish it as quick as possible both times. This was the result with the stock 15 tooth.

This was the 14 tooth.

I need to put a few more miles on it before I make any bold claims, but it did keep my average speed up a little bit.

Just installed a yoshi rs-9 slip on last night and I love it. May eventually make a custom header that has more ground clearance for when I drop it.

don't mean to revive an old thread, but do you still have your Grom? i live in lancaster and am looking for people to ride with who are local lol
His last activity on here was in May. Try shooting him a PM. It might trigger an email if he's setup that way.
