So I called Two Bros racing today to ask if they were working on a juice box for the grom. The guy I spoke with said it should be on the way within the next 6 months or so and that they were just trying to finish up with their current project. He said they are working on a big bore kit that as of right now is showing an increase of around 50% hp That would take the bike from 9 to 13.5 without any other mods. This means 15 hp with exhaust and intake mods is very attainable. This should be available within a month or so according to employee i talked with today. He said keep a look out on the main page and in the grom section for updates!! CAN'T WAIT! Two Brothers made big bore coming soon!:big smile:

Two Brothers suck for performance!
I've never understood all the hate on Two Brothers products. I've used their exhausts on a few CBR600rrs and a CBR1000rr and it did everything an aftermarket exhaust is suppose to do; less weight, HP gains(dyno proven), nice sound, good quality, inexpensive and looks great. I get the impression that somebody heard from somebody that knows more about bikes say they didn't like Two Brothers so now that person has to try and sound knowledgable and regurgitate what he heard. Everybody else has jumped on the bandwagon. I've run everything from Akrapovic to Yoshimura to Two Brothers to Taylormade. Each one is unique and has different qualities. I'm currently running a Yoshimura on my Grom and a Taylormade on my CBR1000rr and I would have no problems using a Two Brothers for either.

I'd be down to try it out. From everything I've seen, their stuff seems to be of good quality. Companies typically don't stick around for as long as they have building poor quality components. Until I have an issue with an actual product of theirs, I will withhold judgement.

I have had multiple toys including a Can Am Spyder and Campagne T-Rex both with Two Brothers system and both actually lost power after install!
I like how they look and sounds but in pure aspect of performance they are no good!

I'd like to argue against that. I had a slip-on for my zx-6r and I definitely had some performance gain. No other mods were done and I could get my front tire to come up 5mph earlier than when I had my stock pipe. Doesn't sound like much but without a tune or anything, I gained some additional torque. I honestly wouldn't ever go with any other system. And if I had to bash a brand it would be yoshi.

I like choices, I don't see why a big bore kit from 2 bros will be a bad thing. We all have our faith on a few tuners, we don't have to like all the same stuff :)

That link pisses me off. Original post makes it sound like Two Bros is working on their own big bore kit in house. They finally list it on their site and it's a fucking Tagewa kit made in Japan. Three lines down it says Made in USA. Fuck that.

I'd be better off buying a used Yuminashi from King Kong Soap on eBay.

Looks like a re-badged Takegawa to me which is certainly not uncommon.

Edit: After reading the description that's exactly what it is haha. Funny it still says made in U.S.A.
.

We just got off the phone with them.

Since we are selling this Kit, we needed to make sure they were not misleading the customers.

It's Definitely, NOT Made in the U.S.A.

They will be removing that from their Advert.
