I had a client in the shop today picking up a rifle. Turns out, he manages the local GoCart track up in Clearwater. Let's get a show of hands of who would be interested in renting it for a Grom track day. This is something id like to work on. I think it would be worth busting out the trailers and driving in from other parts of the state, no? Let's see a show of hands.

this has gone around and around

the main problem is

groms are still short shipped, and i dont have MANY friends with groms.

it would be a great start just to get more groms in ppls hands, then the entire racing scene will develop hopefully..... but as of right now i gotta drive my truck at least 45mins+ just to meet another person with a grom.

You're not invited anyway. Plus, your Chinese clones probably won't make it around the track without breaking down.

Down! I have 5 other groms that I know would be down as well. I'm about two hours from Clearwater and wouldn't mind taking the drive at all.

You should find out what kinda gear and stuff he's gonna want us running as that could change the 5 groms to just 1 if they need track suits.

Yeah bro, I own On Point Firearms-- a little shop in St. Pete. That's how I met the manager of the track. He came in and bought a couple of Walthers from me. We get to talking about the track and the Grom, etc. He rides also, so he's simpatico with the whole idea. Just haven't had much bandwidth for the project lately on account of my 10 month old son and everything going on at the shop.

As I said on the fb page, Idk what "track days" like this normally cost but I'd def pay up to like 60$ with a good group of people, I have no interest in racing so id just hang out in the pits and drink beer, turn some wrenches, take pictures and drink beer

I'll also bring a white board to tell you each lap how cute your bike is as you go by
