I have a bone stock grom I weigh 160lbs and I can't get past 56-57 on the flat. How are pleople that weigh 200 plus getting 60-65? I'm also not revving past 7500 rpm? Any thoughts ?

How many miles on the bike? Also depends where you live too.

so far with 112 miles on the clock have seen 61mph and that was no where near pushing it (each gear change before 6k etc)
also weigh in at about 215 but dont tell anyone!

diy air box mod thread. ngk spark and a Yoshi. thatll get into mid 60's all day. cheapest speed enhancers before bbk and electronic fuel controllers. don't be afraid of 7500+ rpm. you can beat on these little beasts more that you think. just wait till shes been broken in and got that first oil change and valve adjustment. then go at it again see what happens

Just hit 74 , gonna swap back to stock gearing as I now have a bit more power and see what she does

When I hit about 500 it felt like the motor opened up a bit compared to 100 miles. Give it time. Exhaust, filter and spark plug one range colder will help get some extra speed.

14t front I hit the rev limiter at 73 indicated. Didn't GPS it but probably around 68ish if I had to guess.

ive used +1 and -1 and seen over 75+ but on gps and my friends car im going 7-10 mph slower then the reading on the bike so any gearing different then stock your speed is not even close to being right

Up on the front will show low speedo readings, down on the front will show high speedo readings (with a 34t rear)

not sure how accurate ulysse gps app is, what gps app did you use when you hit 75+ on +1 front sprocktet?
