Nice work. With the Honda lettering you made it your own.

And that sparkle in the tank paint is glistening in your picture. Full screen I can even see the pearl component glimmering in the white paint which is not usually caught in pictures. Gorgeous. I think this less-is-more color scheme is very classy on this bike and makes the red frame color pop attractively standing out while drawing the eye to it. I bet it's something special to behold in natural sunlight.

Done and Done. Can you say Bling!
Mirror extenders.
You can find some cheaper but nothing says monkey like these extenders.

Found some adjustable leavers in red. Love the look.
If you by chance go this route, the screw on the clutch side is really tight. I tapped on the bottom with the nut loose and that helped. The other concern to keep in mind is that the OE clutch leaver have a little bump on the inside that pushes in the clutch switch. This is so you can start the bike in gear when the clutch is pulled. I used a mini fuse on the two blade connectors to the switch and pushed them in the rubber boot and mounted the rubber cover as shown.
Brake side, no drama.

Tail tidy installed. I used the stock license light as shown. The tail tidy is resting on the light housing but it feels sturdy.
If the this gives me trouble, I'll take it out of the black holder, silicone the circuit board and try it again.

Looks good.
I figured I'll likely never ride the Monkey in the dark. That's how I justified going without.

I was going to use a small strip of LED lights from this roll I got off of banggood a few years back. Then I test fitted the tail tidy and seen there was ever so amount of room under there. I'll see how it holds up. The small lighting housing thick plastic so it may hold ok. If not, the circuit board is very tiny and I'm sure I can get that to work. I would agree, with you for I'm not planning on doing any night riding but, there will be that one time. I don't know why someone don't make a tail light with a clear section on the bottom and call it a day. You know, I think I have some lexan from my RC days and I may just make one myself. A clear section under the tail light should be bright enough to shine on the tag.

Actually there is some lighting from the taillight. Plus headlights from cars behind will light it up even more since it's reflective paint.

I went to install the TB camshaft this evening with no luck. It appears that the outside bearing on the TB camshaft I ordered is much to larger than the stock camshaft. Also, doesn't look like you can remove the rockers as easy on the 2023 as previous years monkey.
