installed a new rear sprocket and attempted to put on the new chain. But the chain (96 link) was too short.
Ordered 98 link chain.

New Vans grips. Had to do a bit of filing and sanding of the throttle tube, but pleased with the results

Put a deposit on an incoming Red 2023.

These things are definitely unicorns around here. Five different dealers had a few on order with MANY people on the waiting list if the person that had their name on it backed out.

Finally walked into the last local dealer that I hadn't called yet and they had 3 coming, and only 2 had been spoken for.

What's a good source for that sticker? Looks nice on yellow. The 2023 has a plain looking tank and I wasn't sure how to add color to the red bike.

Kenda Big Blocks, EBC rotors, and EBC HH pads installed.
It's like a whole new bike!

Picked up a 2023 this last Friday (Pearl Nebula Red) here in Houston Texas. This was my first destination spot. As my wife Karen calls it, my Mecca.

Fantastic 2023 Shot. I went for a similar approach modifying my 2020 Thai domestic model:

Before:

Mods:

Horn off a Honda CB400
Mirrors off a Honda Rebel 500
Painted the original exhaust system black again (had started to rust) rather than fit the Takegawa STD exhaust I bought (want to see how I go with the original before making changes)
14T Front Sprocket & new DID Chain
Replaced original rear suspension with original rear susupension from a Red Monkey
Removed reflectors (not a legal requirement where I am)
Ebay seat cover from Thailand
