does anyone have the targa fender eliminator? as i'm planning to get the competition werkes integrated tail light, i'm looking for a fender eliminator kit that is tucked away and minimal in design so the targa kit seems to fit the bill. however, i can't seem to find a photo of the kit installed with a license plate mounted.

i was originally going to get the hotbodies but since the tail light will have integrated turn signals, i don't need the ones on the hotbodies kit and it would look redundant.

thought i'd share some pics with you guys so you can get a better idea of the product.

shot at night to give you an idea of the led for the plate. it's very bright and aimed properly at the license plate.

shot during the day. the blue led is not part of the kit. it's my alarm indicator.

overall, it's a great fender eliminator kit. it's made of a quality material with a good finish and all hardware was included. best of all, it's priced right at around $50!

That looks good and a reasonable price, I am waiting for the competiton werkes eliminator but that looks very tempting :)
.

Just FYI, These are released NOW.

And we even got them to offer a (Turn Signal DELETE) version of the FE Kit, for less cost... for those of you who are going to be using the Comp. Werkes LED Tail Light with Integrated Turn Signals.

Both the TARGA and the COMP. WERKES are located here:

Just take the aluminum piece that they stick your inspection sticker to(or whatever it is), place it in a clamp on a table or vice and bend the tabs a little less than 90 degrees. line it up with the holes that held on the airplane wing(the stock duck tail with plate and blinkers) and drill new holes to match. then trim the excess of the aluminum hanging out under your plate and mount with some rubber washers in between the undertail and
newly made fender eliminator. it looks pretty darn good and is free. just an idea:)

Well then go to your local bike shop and ask for one of these, they will probably just give it to you

hell, i guess is if ever need any scrap metal for a project, i could try this. you sure dealers for states that don't require inspections would carry these? is it something that comes standard on bikes then scrapped by the dealer if not needed?

however, you have to admit for the price, features, and fit/finish, this kit is pretty darn good.

Not the sticker. The aluminum plate. I did mine this way also and works perfect.
