I recently bought a targa fender eliminator its the one on ebay that come without tjrn signals so you can install an integrated taill light. Well I hooked the tag light wires up correctly with my stock tag ligh wires. Green to solid black and yellow to black and white sriped wire. But still cant get the tag light to work. Its an led light btw. Thought my hot wire wasnt hot but I tested it and it is. I also tested the light to make sure it works and it does so Has anyone else on here ever bought the same product and have any trouble? My grom also does not have any turn signals at the moment, would that have anything to do with the tag light not working?

You should try quick connecting a hd flasher to the wire I bought a pack from my local motorcycle shop 2 came in the pack with quick connectors just clip them right on the wire and make sure you tape them up to secure them cuz I didnt and one of the connectors wire broke and I had to tie a wire to the little stub that was left and it works again. Oh yeah it should cost about 15/20 bucks for them. Good luck lemme know if it works

Oh yeah the grom wire harness doesnt support leds so your gonna need hd flashers for each light wire

Clip them on the hot wire not the ground and im not sure about led resistors

i have the targa kit and from what i remember, it was a direct connection to the oem plate light.

you shouldn't need a load resistor as the plate light is ran directly to the stator.

Well idk whats up with it. The light is good. I tried it out on the battery. I know 100% sure its connected to the correct wires also.

just got my targa fe installed, i had the same problem, i just swapped the wires and it worked, im guessing that the last batch of leds are wired backwards.

groms gotta be running for that to light up.... i thought the same thing at first.. just like the headlight, the thing needs to be RUNNING
