Hi All,

There wasn't a thread here with the same setup with Temp info. So I thought I should start one to share my experience with it.

Temperatures for Day time where I'm at is between 30C (86F) to 33C (91F).

Stock Temp reading going at 80-90+km/hr for 15mins:
Temp reading on stock cylinder and piston (running on unleaded 95), without oil cooler was between 95C (203F) to 110C (230F).

Takegawa Hyper S Stage 181cc Temp reading - 70-80+km/hr:
Temp reading on BBK 181cc with Cam (running on unleaded 98), without oil cooler was also between 95C (203F) to 110C (230F).

Takegawa Hyper S Stage 181cc BBK with Takegawa Compact cool 4fin oil cooler Temp reading - 70-80+km/hr:
88C (190F) to 98C (208F).

Bear in mind I've not tested WOT as I'm still running in (a.k.a. break in)
So there you have it, the oil cooler definitely works.
Will report temp readings after engine run-in has completed.

Temp taken using the OPMID gauge (same as the one Hardracing has for sale on their website).

thanks for your report and feedback on real world riding and testing, yes I'm also getting the Temp/voltage meter that HRD sells just to monitor my head temp on the BrianS 170cc BBK and his Port/Polish/duel valve/bigger valve head that he sells.

How is everything running? any updates? also did you reinstall the decompression device on the takegawa cam?

decompression device wasn't installed on the takegawa cam. no issues with cranking at cold. However, battery has been upgraded, so i guess that helped.

Been riding around, WoT for about 5-10secs, temp shot up to 102degrees Celsius.
80-100km/hr for 10-20mins, temp reading's between 93-100degrees Celsius.

Have about 1200km on the 181BBK so far.
