Getting ready to install my slipper clutch and had a question. The clutch cover came with 2 plungers, one long and a short one. I used the long one and everything is fine. What is the short one for?
Also hard tacing instructions for slipper clutch says don’t use the washer behind the basket. But the takegawa instructions says reuse. Do I follow hard racing since their explanation is because there won’t be enough threads for the nut?

Bearing size in the lifter plate.

The bearing on the slipper clutch is a different ID than stock lifter plate.

Use the one that fits into the bearing properly.

You remove the washer in the bottom of the clutch basket, not the spacer behind the basket.

There are multiple videos online to show you the install. Look at more than one if you are still unsure
