I'm basing the look of my Grom off of supermoto bikes and wanted to know if anybody has either modded or made a front fender that sits up higher like this picture.

Our CRF50 has a high fender, and similar forks to the Grom. Not sure how it mounts, and if the appropriate bits are there on the Grom. I'd go check, but it is not at the house at the moment.

I am trying to figure it out myself. So far, on the front fender, the biggest problem is the mount. There is no bottom point on the bottom triple tree to mount it too because of the length of the headlight, so I may need to swap headlights. Also, I may have fork guards worked out. I've ordered a second set of crf 50 fork guards. Once I get them mounted up I post a full how to

What is the benefit of the high fender when the forks have the whole part of 3 inches of travel?
