So far still not fixed. Called and asked about fuel I use and stuff. Spark check, compression check, plenty of fuel check, turn the key hit the button no boom. Turns over and over. Hopefully it’s a minor issue. Doesn’t seem to be. But it is what it is
Any news yet on the Monkey? I have a Monkey with about 350 miles on it and I'm curious what the problem is/was with yours.

Collapsed rings on the piston. Seems all the rings were in the exact same place. So the gap was letting the pressure through. And they replaced the complete top end. My dad went and picked it up. Jumped straight on the interstate. 70 mph all the way to his house. Said it ran like a top. One way to break in the new parts

Yikes!....... That's awful.

Well good news that it's running again.

Went ahead and swapped out the stock tires for a more aggressive look. Maxxis 130’s front and rear. Got to say I love the look. Hopefully I can find time to ride this soon. Shot out to my buddy Dave @ FX Motorsports for the tires and install. If your a local to New Orleans. Definitely give him a call with any of your needs. Stand up guy and a genuine person. Hopefully I can figure out what to do next. Really waiting on a air box delete package. And still haven’t found the right turn signals that I like best. Trying to keep the chrome accents on it. To keep the old school look.
I joined this forum just to tell you your bike is BEAUTIFUL!! I am in the market for one right now, hopefully I'll find a yellow one soon. I was already planning on adding the exact tires and yoshi pipe that you have, and now seeing your pictures I'm 100% positive thats what I want to do. Congrats on a sweet ride!

Appreciate it. I ordered the Brock's intake. Looks almost like my grom intake. Will post up some new pictures once I get the Euro taillight and signals installed. I love this little bike. Can't go wrong with it. Hopefully the next batch comes in some different colors. Then I might have to buy my dad one.

So this past weekend was the big easy weekender 12. It’s a local scooter rally put together by some local clubs. I usually get out and join the fun. So here is some updated photos. And the Brocks intake is worth the money. Clean setup and big Preformance. Here’s a couple of photos of my bikes. The red monkey belongs to a guy across the lake. My dad rode the monkey Saturday and I rode my Grom. Hopefully I can get the lights on next few days. Pops kept the bike and I couldn’t pry it out of his hands, said he loved it. And I must agree that it’s sooooo comfortable. That seat must be a temperedic material. Man that thing is cushy.

Hey Sean, hopefully Dad gave your bike back, I'm curious how those tires act on the street? As far as noise or if they make it kinda jiggy,twitchy,...I want a set bad...like to play in the trails anyway...but it's on the road alot too...It really does look like Z50 on steroids with those tires!! nice job man!!!...

Tires don’t make much noise. I do feel a little bit making turns. But that’s to be expected. Best upgrade for the bike. Really fits the bike well. 130 front n back

Your bike is looking sweet. Have you added a fuel controller / ecm yet? I'm waiting to see the Akropovic exhaust before deciding on a Yoshimura pipe.

Dan B , No haven't felt the need yet. No popping or loss of power yet. I'm sure it would help it just have yet to install one.

Finally got around to putting the euro lights on. I must say this is really a great look. Flasher works just blinks fast. So I installed the efl from Mnnthbx. Also put the tb shift lever. Clean setup. Here are a few pics I snapped today. Was going to install the tank riser kit from Composimo but decided to do that another day. So far really happy with the bike. Can’t wait to see the blue one for 2020

Looking quite awesome! I really need to pick up some spools, and am way too tempted by changing out the lights.
The spools are really nice. Just long wait for them. The stand is from harbor freight. Cheap but worth it for the small bike.

Few Friday updates. Gcraft fender kit and the chain guard. I do this for a good friend that passed who loved the little details. Waiting on a few more little things. Really appreciate the support.
