One consideration.....
Do you ever ride in a forrest area? If so I believe the stock muffler is a spark arrestor and if so, have you ever been checked for that? If you have an after market muffler, there is a good chance it's not forrest approved.
I will keep my stock one for that reason, and I'm currently running Yosh pipe & muffler.
Keep in mind, I live in the "left coast nutso state" :crazy: and they inforce this.....

In WV I could run no exhaust anywhere and it's cool lol and maybe I'll just use the exhaust as a living room decoration

I had a straight pipe on my zx6-r for over a year in NY with no issues. I also use plastics from my accidents as wall ornaments.

There's tons of them on ebay. One of those things where there's lots of sellers and very few buyers. Right along with stock tails and blinkers.
