I have done many of the popular mods to my 2018 Grom. My mechanic recommended I install a GPR dampener for when I’m on parkways and bridges due to the bikes short wheelbase. This is one pricey mod! Any thoughts on if it’s worth the $$$.

They work great, IF you need one. If you're experiencing head shake, feel the bike is overly nervous, or plan to race, I'd say get one. If not, I wouldn't make the investment, unless of course you have money burning a hole in your pocket....

Thanks, my mechanic definitely race’s. I’m commuting and on parkways and expressway on Long Island. One of the parkways I use almost always makes the handlebars wobble and there’s the possibility of hitting the GW or Throgs neck bridge should I wanna take a trip. I have upgraded the front and rear suspension. So do think the steering damper is the Solution to groovy pavement and wind?... no I don’t have a grand burning a hole in my pocket… not too many people do today. Appreciate your input. Thanks
