spencermarkd's 2023 Grom ABS Build - Name TBD

Hey y'all,

Joined the Grom family at the end of January with a 2023 Grom ABS in Pearl White (because I wanted the gold wheels and forks..). The grom joined my other bikes:
- 2010 F800GS
-1982 CB750

• 1967 CT90
• 2022 Navi

The Navi will be sold to a friend in the next month or so.

So far have about 60 miles on the Grom and have done an decent amount of work to it for the mileage. Just waiting for the snow to melt so I can start putting some real miles on it.

Done so far:

• swapped to black body panels with custom gold decals
• TST Worx airbox cover
• Front running lights w/ turn signals, using yoshimura adapter plates
• Swapped body panel washers to Kemimoto verge washers (they've worked with me on a few videos with the Navi, got them free, whoop whoop)
• Progressive Suspension minimoto 9.5" rear shock

Have parts in hand to do:

• racingbros fork springs
• protaper klx110 bar swap with new throttle tube and grips
• shift lever to remove shift linkage

Plan on doing soon:

• 428 chain swap and sprockets, going down to 14t
• speedo healer
• stiffer clutch springs and tapped basket/clutch plate
• tail tidy and rear turn signals
• swap to Monkey rearsets
• Li-ion battery
• rear rack or some kind of side racks
• levers
• last thing will probably be an exhaust, I actually don't hate the stock one all that much
