Hey guys,

I finally got around to working on a decent fuel map.

For my setup it works well and really woke this engine up, especially in the mid range. I can easily maintain 65 up pretty steep grades. On straights sitting upright I am able to cruise WOT at 70-72MPH. There is vastly more torque and I am finally happy with the engine performance.

This is with the stock gearing as well so I wouldn't be surprised to see 75+ with different sprockets, but I'm loving the new-found torque so I may only go down a tooth in the rear.

This is for the Bazzaz Z-FI only just import it into your software.

I will get a dyno map soon for the final tweaks as I noticed a few small hickups in some parts of the curve.

One last thing, do not try this map if you have the stock injector and without an A/F ratio meter, it will run too lean and you run the risk of damaging your engine by overheating it.

Where can different Bazzaz fuel map files be found for different exhaust and air filter combinations? There should be maps available somewhere for various configurations so that a map can be loaded without having it mapped by a Bazzaz certified shop. The Bazzaz website doesn't list maps for the Grom or I couldn't find them.

I spent about 4 hours today revising the map and fixed some areas that were too rich, the new map is on the site.

There are no maps except the base map Bazzaz provides and the ones from the community of Grom/MSX riders. Its up to us the owners to post our maps with different combinations to share with the community. There are just too many combinations and variables to make dozens of maps financially viable for a company to make.

If anyone has some maps they would like to share with other members, PM me with your setup and ill send my e-mail address to you and post it on my site so everyone can download.

Correct, it is a nice feature. I use it if i see something like this: -20, -5, -30, -15. It works good when you see anomalies like that in the map.

Today my Yoshimura ST-1M camshaft was arrived . In the istallation instructions is also included a Fuel volume adjustment by using the Bazzaz software. Here it is ;

Most of it is in my build thread thread, but I'm waiting for the grom of the month contest to fully reveal it.

I also took the bike for a 2 hour ride today and am getting great results from the Bazzaz. It seems grounding the O2 sensor wire has worked out after all, which was surprising actually. There have been some reports of intermittent check engine lights coming on, but it happens randomly and rarely. Once the ignition is switched off and back on again it goes away. I can live with that and am happy with the Bazzaz so if you bought one there is no need to sell it, with a good tune it works fine.
