Since enough people have mentioned going to this show on Saturday, I thought maybe we should start a thread to see who is interested. We could SMS each other to do a meetup. Maybe we could watch some of the races there? I liked watching the kids racing track last time and liked seeing the stunts. San Mateo, CA | motorcycleshows.com

So far:

hairpin -Kate
CiscoSanJose
Big Chris
freakytikitv (maybe)
ShapeShifter (maybe)

Anybody else going Saturday or interested that I missed? Confirm or deny! - or just say maybe. :)

I am a definite maybe. I blew the family pumpkin patch trip for our Mt Tam ride last weekend, so I may have to make up for that.

They did not have racing or stunt show last year. I hope they bring back the Death Orb thing, that was cool!
Huh? I thought I saw kids racing supermoto and I saw some brothers doing stuff on trials bikes. Trials is not stunts, but I thought it was cool. Maybe I'm getting confused with the 2011 show... Never saw any Death Orb. That sounds scary!

The death orb thing was a big steel mesh sphere that up to 5 dudes on minis would do loops in. Forgot the name. Quite a specticle.
Hey shape I saw those guys in Vegas ......nuts. My buddy bought all their 50s when they switched kawi's . They ran full Bbr setups. I bought all their spare sub frames. Man I wish I had video of those dudes.

Met up with Cisco today (CiscoSanJose) and that was cool. We chatted a bit.

They had one Grom on the floor at the Honda area, with lots of people crowded around. Lots of interest in that bike.

I have to say my favorite bikes of the day were the new Ninja 300 and surprisingly the GSX-R600. Oh and I also sat on the BMW S1000RR and HP4 model. That bike is sweet!

Hey Shape. The only entertainment was motocross racing and a rock band - the school of rock. No real wackiness. It did seem smaller than last year. Even the number of customs seemed less. But I just go so I can see how bikes have changed from the last year and sit on as many as I can. And then I lament that I have no money to buy any of them.

Here's some photos from the day.
