Regardless of how they look, they add weight with no other real benefit. Seems to me the best mods for the Grom are any that decrease weight or increase power. If it looks good and decreases weight then it's a go.
Some people don't go for the "best" mods. Sure, performance mods are nice. But people mod to make it their own, whether the benefit is form or function. To each their own...keep calm and GROM ON!!

If I saw you on a run and you had those on your bike I would tell you they look great. But since you asked here I will just say that I am trying to remove crap and weight FROM my Grom, not add TO it.

When I got mine I cleaned up the welds, stripped the paint, and then repainted them in a gunmetal color. When I installed these I didn't need my MNNTHBX brace anymore. These things aren't heavy- at all. I think the shipping weight was something like 4 pounds. And after removing the stock exhaust and whale tail, you still come out probably 7 pounds ahead of stock.

you guys are all complaining about the weight, but it's only 1.4kg.....and that's for the pair.
my tidytail weighs about that much....just sayin
