I know that I am probably too tall for this bike. I daily it and love it. Looking for a way to either move or adjust the angle of the pegs to custom fit my riding position. Any ideas? Also, how uncomfortable are those race pegs?

I removed the peg rubbers.

Helped with adjusting the shifter and legroom.

You can get (and adjust) legroom with an AirHawk.

I'm 6'1" tall and have similar issues. I ride rubbing the top plastics with my legs when shifting or braking. Once I get to speed and I'm not shifting or braking, I move my feet back on the pegs and pivot my ankles slightly so that my legs don't rub on the plastic. That makes my knees settle under the bend of the tank cover plastics. Every time I slow down or have to shift, I reposition my legs up again.

I'm 6'5", which is on par with Fat_Grom from a post I just ran across (featherweight mods), but I'm right around 190 lbs. I saw some rear sets on ebay for the Grom that looked to be adjustable, but, for the time being, I'll probably just deal with repositioning the same way as Ven0m0us. Seat mod for comfort will happen someday and will probably get some race pegs because that rubber is getting annoying imo.

... pile_o'_zuma, will that Buell setup really work on these suckers?

Try the front axle extender pegs.Or maybe forward controls. I try to sit at the rear of the seat.

stock rear set

aftermarket rear set

Roughly 4 inches back vs. stock? It can be adjusted to go another 1/2" or so.

Is this the rear set that Jeankysti is distributing? (Could have misspelled that) Definitely what I'm looking for.

Always reaching for that elusive, mythical 5th gear.

I'm pretty sure all of the good adjustable rearsets move your feet into a higher position for cornering clearance, even in their lowest position. I use Over Racing, and have ridden a bike with Driven rearsets, both are higher up than the stock grom rearsets. Tyga's look to be the same.
