i used 2x cans of plastidipp, no shiner or clear coat or metallic or stuff like that, just the basic white

i may try their gold metallic look in the future to match my gold marchensinis on my r1

looks great 5ft away, up close there are some runs from where gravity allowed the plastidipp to pull to and also along the spokes, also the valve stems were rushed and i did not clean it with razor before pulling the tape, so its ugly as f*ck there.

enjoy, lets see some other plastidipppppppped wheels for the grom, like their bright yellow, orange, and all the crazy colors!

Super slick. When I painted my stunt bike rims and my Lightning rims I used big pieces of cardboard and cut out about 1" larger diameter than the rims and overlaid so there was no overspray on the tires.

I think you've shown me to paint mine gold in the "off season".

I had a red bike and painted the rims white. They looked great. Over time they got too dirty and I got lazy so I went back to black.

well im kinda scared of riding the grom on my favorite loop that i take on my r1, its got fast long 70+mph sweepers

im scared that ill lean the bike so much ill drag the footpeg and lift the rear and slide out like all those other guys been doing on "the dragon"

so im waiting to get some rearsets and new rubber before i actually drag knee with it. In the mean time i always gotta remind myself the grom is still a toy not a full size bike so there are lotsa limitations on where and what it can do.
