Would love to hear other owners' tool recommendations that you think are 'must haves' or even stuff that just makes life a lot easier for doing all your own maintenance.

Having a tool set make things so much easier when you taking Grom apart. Most of nut sizes are 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm. As for on the road, must have tool is DUCK TAPE! Also have CO2 cartridge just in case you get flat tire.

There's nothing more frustrating than stripping a bolt or screw because you used the wrong tool. You should be able to get a nice mechanics tool set for 20-30$ at Home Depot or lowes. It'll probably only have the basic tools at that price but it will get you by.

Garage.

I have basic mechanics tool set already. Just curious if there is anything out of the ordinary needed for say valve adjustment or taking off a wheel. I want to be prepped for when I have to do something and not have to run to the store in the middle of a project.

What is "Fpni"?

After looking through the valve adjustment guide I'll be picking up a leaf gauge set. Also grabbing a black and decker battery maintainer (BM3B). Are there any cheap-ish, decent quality bike stands out there? All the ones I've seen are over $100 and seem overpriced for the very simple looking construction.

Anyone can recommend a good set of tappet wrenches/sockets? I have standard tools an found it a bit difficult to accomplish my first time checking/adjusting. Tools made for the job would be a good investment for this task. An I don't care if u did it with standard tools or think u don't need special tappet tools either. jus saying. Lol.
