My monkey has almost 4000 miles and I have adjusted the chain tension several times.
And today I noticed the rear sprocket shows wear.
The front sprocket looks perfect.
I am guessing this is because the rear sprocket is made of aluminum.

I am thinking I will upgrade the chain at the same time.
Any recommendations for either?

I recently replaced my chain with a X-ring. Much quieter than stock. Looks better too, with the gold anodized side plates.
They're available everywhere! Amazon, E Bay, Walmart, etc. 420x 96 links is the size you want. Fits perfect.

so this tool will work on the master link clip assuming I get the exactly correct chain length.
So I ordered the sprocket, chain, and tool.
I will let you all know how it turns out.

Thanks Slim Jim. Thats the exact chain I purchased. Unhook master link. Connect new chain to the old one, and pull it on!
I think I bought mine from Walmart, for a couple bucks cheaper. Very happy with it!
