Random but can I get my grom delivered from my dealer to my house still in the box? Then I could just "assemble" myself. Just wondering if anyone knows
Oh thanks. And dam lol. I saw the video, the box isn't that much larger then a bicycle box. They should just finance them right through honda and mail it to my front door. It'd be so much better Iny opinion.
It would be way easier for them just to cutout the middle man (dealerships) and ship directly. They'd make more profit. And I'd have one sooner lol. Can't wait to get my red grom in the next 6 weeks.
Cheap on gas, cheap to buy, tons of fun for cheap money
they "HONDA MC Corporate" need to be control of the final product delivered to you because there is the warranty issue of one year and they want to make sure that they did the final inspection and testing before you get your GROM. The second issue is that there is LAW suit issue if you screw up putting your Grom together and something happens when you ride it and you try to sue Honda they have control of the documents that prove that they did all the adjustment and deliver before they release the Grom to you. There is papers that you have to sign that you were told about all the maintenance/warranty etc.
Yes, my dealer said the same thing when I asked. As of a few years ago they were no longer allowed to sell bikes in the crate. This is true for all major brands now as far as I know.
