Hello everyone! I have a question regarding the camshaft swap that you may be able to help me with. When I threw the cam sprocket back on, it was all lined up with the original teeth and markings that I had made, but after taking it for a test ride, the markings are no longer lining up when in TDC. Is that ok? Or are the same teeth supposed to be hitting the same links on the chain with every revolution? During the test ride the throttle seemed extremely laggy and the bike died when I was up shifting 2nd to 3rd. Does the extreme bogginess/throttle lagginess sound like a ECU problem or a problem regarding the chain/timing marks? I shipped my ECU to DHM to be flashed so hopefully that fixes it but I still wanted to ask about the sprocket/chain.

Thanks!

The sprocket hits different chain links every revolution. Just make sure your crank and cam are aligned at TDC. As long as the timing marks are correct, the chain doesn't matter.
