Do you guys have one?

I start my bike and then let it warm up as I put on my helmet, gloves etc....

As I am putting my gear on I walk all the way around the bike and look for things that might be coming loose. Just do a general visual inspection of nut, bolts and parts. Then I check to see that the turn signals are working as they should and I check that the brake light is working with both the front and rear brake. Only takes about 15-20 seconds for the inspection and then I am off.

About once a month or so I check tire pressure and chain tension (depending on miles ridden).

What do you guys do?

Keep eyes ope, tire pressure weekly as I can tell if I'm a pound down. Bolt check at every oil change. Honk horn check brake light check, run from cops.

Put key in and make sure it starts and warms up and make sure all the lights are on. Of course one of my headlights is out on the low side so I have to get a new one.

Would there be anything additional to inspect before leaving the dealership with my brand new shiny GROM? I will be so excited that I'm sure I'll forget to check something!

Feel the tires by hand (check pressure on gauge every other weekend).
Look under and around engine for leaks.
Check oil level.
Turn bike on.
Gear up. (Bike warming up)
Check lights (front, rear, signals and brake)
Mount up and feel suspension (putting pressure on and off the seat)
Feel clutch lever (to check play)
Feel brake lever and pedal while rocking bike forward and back
Ride off!

Takes less than 2 minutes to check. Good to do before every ride.
