So this weekend was Cruisin the Coast here in Mississippi. Got up with a bunch of local Ruckus guys and some Ruckus guys came over from Louisiana. Riding with them at times I wanted a little more performance. I only plan to do intake, exhaust and a Power Commander. Slap all that on and dyno tune it and I will be done performance wise. So this morning I got up and decided to shoot an email to the people at DynoJet who make the Power Commander and this is what I got back:

"We do currently have some product development projects for the Grom underway. We are sourcing new wiring harness connectors and working out some engineering solutions for the O2 sensor. I have no ETA for a product release at this time..

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,

I got my Grom from Brookhaven Honda when they first came out. I don't even ride the SV1000S anymore. I rode it Friday and it just doesn't do it for me like the Grom.

We go hard in the NOLA. what you expect??
He is actually a BR guy. I am just doing a basic intake/exhaust and Power Commander on the Grom. Keep that reliability and squeeze a little more performance out of it.

I had been in contact with Brookhaven for about a month. I talked to Nate and let him know I was buying a black Grom and had cash in hand. Shoebacca got his Grom on Thursday, the first on the forum. Nate called me Saturday around noon and told me they had one black Grom that was available. Before they had 5-6 deposits but supposedly they all backed out except one. A guy from the dealership bought the other one, leaving one available. I went Monday and picked it up.

I work at the Honda dealership in Gulfport and we have only gotten one in, a red and it went to a walk in customer who wasn't even looking for a Grom. He is a local bike collector.

You must be speaking of Courtney. Lol I was suppose to race him for money. Good thing I didn't.
I am. banks619 has the intake mod and the Yosh full exhaust and he says he got him on the highway, so you may stand a chance.

very nice. I work at the honda dealer in slidell. we got a black one, sitting in my garage... lol
I talked to my boss and told him I was buying a Grom and gave him a chance to sell me one, but he said "I rather make a little money on it." Roger that.

I got one, and I got it pretty much when they came out, so I am happy. Plus I got a smoking deal on it. I hit 70 mph downhill the other day. I have the full Yosh on order but it has been backordered for over a month. Supposed to have been released the end of last week. banks619 has the full Yosh and he walked away from me going uphill on a bridge out here.

I called Yosh directly and forget what the price was, but it was more than the price I got through my Parts Unlimited rep. I think he got it for around $300 for me. The carbon full system.

We haven't ordered from Yoshimura in forever, I want to say the price they quoted me was close to $400. I want to get my Power Commander, intake and exhaust done before I mess with the gearing.
