So, I ended up buying a used grom. Saved at least a grand over buying new (California sucks). I think I do prefer the kawi but this was a really good deal and I had the cash so I bought it. Tons of fun so far.

I do do have a question for you guys, it's a black 2015 that I want to replace with the red plastics and I'm a bit confused. Looking at partzilla I see that there are two different versions? I just need to know, does it matter which one I get, will they both fit? There's also a guy local selling the side plastics and fender for $120, I think that's priced way high isn't it? And if I talk him down will his fit mine? Thanks!

Pretty sure the 2 versions are not interchangeable. You'll have to get the same version you have now. Check out bikerzbits dot com. Cheap and they're original parts.

Or pull off your existing plastics and have them painted a color only you have. It shouldn't cost any more than stock replacements.

tyga carries the body work. I have a set of white from them, good stuff. comes with all the decals as well if you want to use them.
