Ive been riding the ruckus since 08 and decided to sell for the grom. Wish I still had both but if I had to pick id be the grom. Anyone else make the switch? If so how do feel about it?

I still have both, plus a couple others. It feels like riding a damn dirt bike. I personally like the rucks because you are so much lower and in more of a comfortable positoin.

I like the power of the Grom better than the Ruckus but the Ruckus was a bit more fun to cruise around town on just cause no gears to change through.

I totally agree. The ruck was somehow incredibly comfortable and fun to cruise in town. But even with my BB kit and all the goodies I still wanted a little more go. That's where the grom came in, perfect amount of power IMO. I just learned how to ride a motorcycle when I bought the grom but its already like second nature now so I don't mind not having twist n go. I really only miss havin my ruck because nothing can really match its style.

Never rode a ruckus but they seem like they would be great. I don't think I'm ever selling my Grom it to much fun! Although I will be adding a cbr500r to the stable here soon

I just bought a Ruckus to go with my Grom. Ruckus is cool and I'll be playing with it for a long time. It just needs MOAR POWER.

The Grom is just plain cool. But it needs better suspension.

I have both. Ride the ruck if I want to really think and cruise.

The grom is more of if I want to keep up with the wind blowing against me.

Sold my Red 09 Ruckus to buy a black grom. Super sad to see the ruck go but it was well worth the extra money to switch to the grom. Id say the best advantage is I now have no problem cruising on the highway at 55-60. I did like the ride style of the ruckus but overall the grom is one of those things that almost shouldn't be street legal. That is exactly why I love it. Honda knocked it out of the park on both of them.

I have both. It's funny cause everyone is saying the Ruckus is slow, but I say that about my grom. My Ruckus is WAY faster than my grom... for now...

I got a Grom last Tuesday (my first bike). Wife got jealous so she got an 09' Ruckus this week.
