This post is for Northern Calif, Bay Area owners ONLY. In the new year 2014 where did you buy and pickup your New Grom since Jan 2014. It is now March 2014 so lets see who in Northern Calif got their Grom. I'll start

Jan 9, 2014 Hollister Honda, Red Grom, 3 miles on the ODM when new, now 441 miles on the ODM

I assume GP motorsports on Camden, average price per Grom asking $4,500 when I tried to put my name on their list last summer.

What I'm really looking for is which dealers in Northern Calif as of Jan 2014 got their Groms in and on the dealers Floor for sale and you picked it up either being on a waiting list or just so happened you walked in and there it is for sale to the general public.

If you don't mind putting OTD price it would be helpful to other buyers in Northern Calif on what to expect as far as price goes. Mind was under $4,000 OTD
Thanks

Im in santa cruz. today i called about 6 different honda powersports dealers in the surrounding area and in the bay and theyve all told me pretty much the same thing. dont have any, and the ones on order are either sold, or there are multiple people with deposits for them. i guess ill throw a deposit at one of them and hope honda releases some more in the next few months.

Live in San Jose. Picked up a new black Grom a week and a half ago at Gridley Honda in Gridley, CA. Took a half-day round trip. Well worth it. OTD was a little over $3,700.

I had just about given up on finding a Grom when one popped up on craigslist from the dealer and I snatched it up.

Lucky for you, Ride safe, thanks for the response

that is what I mean if you really want a Grom for a good price you have to shop around, your internet and your phone is your best friend, just never give up.

Keep it coming Northern Cal Grom owners and riders.

Also ride safe all.

Jan. 2014 - Somewhere between Rohnert Park and Windsor - I guess I got "lucky" on it being available. Called dealer, they had one, Saw it, loved it, Had to have it, but the price was a rape job compared to what I've seen here (and no kiss , no hug, not even a f'n bumper sticker - dicks) ...but, like the salesman said "You can walk away. Someone else will be in soon..." :disappointed: (yes, he really said that) No wonder they didn't have a wait list!

Take the advice of CiscoSanJose - If you have time and can shop around, do it.

Northbay Motorsports in rohnert park can suck it. They are asses. Off the top they tack on $200 plus dollars. They tacked on $1000 on the first round. I would wait a season and buy second hand before they get any money from me. I was buying 4-5 bikes a year.......they will never get my money for a bike again. Mission,mach1,ukiah,hillside. Any of these guys can get you a bike up north

i got mine Ukiah motor sports $4100 OTD. I told them I can't pickup in person (do to surgery) they offered to do whole deal through mail(FedEx overnight) I asked to lock in 0% financing that ended before bike hit floor! they said no problem. Now that is real service. I caught a small charge in paperwork. They tore up all paperwork did new deal and offered any parts at cost. I ordered black received red. I drove up against doctors orders. They guys loaded bike I threw every thigh down I had and drove it back. If you need a honda generator you can't beat their prices.

yea from gp and paid 4300 OTD
Hey ride safe Big Chris, bummer you had to pay $4,300 OTD. Might see you on the road, I'm usually Gromin around on the EL Camino, Steven Creek Blvd etc.

I ride around Santa Clara since I go to Gold's Gym Santa Clara and Costco Santa Clara back side San Jose airport. Once in a while to Japan Town San Jose to visit my friend who owns Ukulele Source. Need a ukulele he has them.

Hey ride safe, any mods for you, make sure to buy a chain and lock, those Groms are EZ to pick up and carry away into a truck/Van/trailer. San Jose/Campbell/Camden area is known for high motorcycle thief.

Haven't put on my Michelin Power Pure tires yet but Bike Bandit has them for cheap plus free delivery to your door via UPS

So I assume as of Jan 2014 not too many GROMS are being shipped to Northern California dealers, I was told the next major shipment is April and summer time there should be many more coming in. I'm hoping the 2015 GROMS would arrive since I like the all solid colors plus the GOLD brake calipers.

I've had $500 down since Oct 5 2013 before the Grom price was raised. Waiting 5 months seems a long time and I was told I'm number 2 on their list. This Grom will be modified with all the go fast parts and paint job and possible air-ride system.

The first Grom I bought for my daughter to ride to college which I picked up Jan 9 2014 and I had ZERO money down just my name on a waiting list and was VERY LUCKY to get it the first of the year which I paid CASH/CHECK for.
