So I just bought my Grom about a month ago and already upgraded the exhaust with a TYGA. I heard that I also should order a new intake filter. I saw online that people have the "power commander" for fuel regulation and now I am really confused. Do I need the power commander? What upgrades should I do to increase performance but not have to spend too much money. I don't want to screw up my new bike so at what point do I need to think about getting this power commander or can I make some minor mods and get away without hurting anything.

"Hurting" the bike aside, you'll never see the performance benefits of aftermarket exhausts and intakes without a tuner such as the PCV or Bazzaz. We have maps available for most configurations.

Is that because the stock computer has fixed tables? Won't the stock setup "learn" and adjust for a free flowing intake/exhaust? Especially if you reset the ECM after freeing it up.

Exhaust mod question

Thanks for your response. I had 2 questions. Regarding the tuners on your site, are they legal in california? Also, so I need to or should I reset the ecu since I already upgraded my exhaust?
