Wtf? Chain aligned perfectly, perfect tension yet all of a sudden having a hard time finding the big green N. It's not impossible to find but it was butter smooth immediately before this....am I over looking something?

Could be chain tension. That's the only thing that I think would cause that issue.

Over thinking, calm down re-check what you last changed or mod and remove that and see if the problem goes away. Follow directions and owner's manual and usually you never go wrong. JMO

I agree on the over thinking. Every time my friend works on his quad he always get paranoid something is different or that he installed something wrong.

Check the chain tensión ..If too loose will cause hard to find neutral
