Just bought the Pro Taper SE Honda Mini handlebars. I'm loving the fit & feel & they are Prety similar to the stock bars just a bit lower. I was gonna go with the klx110's but they are too wide so I figured I'd try these out. Part#:02-5258

Looks good. Do they hit the tank/plastics at full lock??

The picture 2nd to last is at full lock. They clear the plastics about 2 inches.

do you have to disconnect the cables or is there enough slack to just slide the controls off the original handlebars?
You do not need to disconnect the cables to replace the bars.
Do these bars have a crossbar? I thought all the mini ones did, that's why I shied away from them, didn't want that look.

Yea these came with the crossbar but I took it off. I don't really like the look with it on either.
Looking good. I like the mirrors as well.
Nice. Let us know how you like them after you put a few miles on it.
What was your strategy to get the grips off?
Not using bar ends?

....
I use compressed air and a nozzle. I do that to "float" the new ones on too.

Looks great!

Where did you purchase these?
Thanks. I purchased these from Cycle gear in Lomita Ca. They came out to $70. I definitely like these way better than the stock ones.

Oh wow. Can you give me the part number please. I'll be stopping by there tomorrow. How tall are you? Do you sit in the middle of the seat or towards the back?

So you bought new factory grips to go on the new bars? Also do you plan on using bar ends?

soapy and even jus water works too.

not sure if you ever changed bars before or not, but when the clamps are off, the bar is free to move so that you don't need to disconnect any cables.

if you mount the bars and tighten the clamps before you attach all your controls, yes you will need to disconnect the throttle cables. ;)
