It is for glam and glory. As for vented covers. this is about as easy a piece to drill and tap as has ever been made....

The small surface of the tappet covers doesn't lend itself to fins very well. Additionally, by not adding them, the end user can easily drill and tap for vents if required. As for larger cam fins, that would drive the cost of the product way up, as you're both buying thicker material, and adding machine time to remove it, and it's just not needed from a function standpoint.

Sorry GT, forgot to respond to your red question... It's almost impossible to get red anodize to actually be red. Small trinkets sometimes are fine, but pieces this size would appear rose colored, so clear and gold it is. G

Understood. But what if I'm going for a rose colored motif? Nothing wrong with that. Having a doily seat cover custom knitted by grandma.

Yall, it more eye candy than anything, plus the ability to tap them for vent if needed. Weight's about the same, cooling perhaps a bit better but no ground breaking.
