Hello everyone! I just purchased my new grom today. It is a yellow one and of course jdm spec so it has the projector style headlight. I'm stationed in Okinawa for the next 3-7 years and I didn't want to go without riding while over here. The speed limits are all <60 mph so the grom is a great bike for the island. Here's my complete bike history:

50 cc Honda dirt bike - age 4
Honda XR200 - age 7
97 Suzuki RM250 - age 15
04 Kawasaki Ninja 250 - age 17
04 Suzuki GSX-R600 - age 20
03 Yamaha FZ1 - age 20
07 Yamaha YZF-R6 - age 20
07 Suzuki GSX-R600 - age 21
Harley Davidson Sportster XR1200 - 21
Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob - Last Bike in the States
05 Suzuki DRZ400SM - Last Bike in Okinawa

Hello,

I was stationed there from 98-00. I had a cbr125 while there that I rode around the outside perimeter of muns and on the beach. Great memories there. Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for all the warm welcomes. I was sure there would be a couple of guys who were stationed here. It's a great place to live which is why I plan to extend for an extra four years.

I may start a build thread just to document my ownership. I don't really have big plans for it. Probably a tidy tail first and I do like the sound of the m4 exhaust.
